--- Mylène Cave works with materials. Trained at the École d’Ébénisterie d’Art in Montreal, she equips herself with tools and patience to make wood, a noble material, a vehicle for her cherished spirituality. As a graphic cabinetmaker and contemporary marquetry artist, she travels the world and explores various disciplines driven by encounters and her own desires. Her inspirations encompass the realm of femininity, the sacred, nature, Art Nouveau, graphic arts, new technologies, and connections in a broad sense.
